On Saturday September 25th 2010, Desirée and I will have the privilege of  supporting Choices Resource Center in the 2010 Walk for Life.  This is the 15th annual walk that has been held.  Choices Resource Center is a non-profit in Oak Ridge TN that help women when they face unexpected pregnancies.  Their approach of ministering God’s truth with unconditional love enables each woman to make positive, informed choices for herself and her baby.  Little ones will someday have the chance to thank their moms for choosing life rather than abortion.  Their staff, supported by trained volunteers, have been committed to meeting the needs of our community since 1992.  Some of the free, confidential services they provide are:

• Accurate pregnancy tests and confidential consultation
• Factual information about parenting, adoption, and the risks of abortion
• Ultrasound Imaging
• STD Testing
• 24-hour Helpline (865 483 0099)
• Heart to Heart parenting classes with Stork’s Nest Baby Boutique

• Healing Hearts post-abortion support for women / Missing Arrows for men

Everyone, you gotta check out this video.  Other than the fact she has a great last name (I’m a touch biased), the story and presentation are dead-on.  This is from Valentines weekend 2010 at Christ Fellowship Church.  Hope you enjoy!

Have you ever had a near death experience?  Have you ever done something and after the fact thought “WOW, I can’t believe I made it through that!”?  Have you ever wondered why the Lord allowed you to make it through a difficult circumstance or situation?  For you it may have been a close call in a car.  Maybe at medical condition.  Hurt your back or fallen off of a roof, a bike or a ladder?

What will YOU do with the second chance at life that the Lord has given you?  My suggestion would be to live for Him everyday.  Give Him all the glory and share your story to allow others to see His light through your life!

Last week when we were going into church, as we were deciding where to sit.  My response to Desirée’s question was simply ‘I don’t care’.  That got me to thinking, why is it that I don’t care.  To me it doesn’t matter if I’m on the back row, or the front row.  Why is that?  The words of Paul came to my mind:

²² When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some. ²³ I do everything to spread the Good News and share in its blessings. – 1 Corinthians 9:22-23 NLT

Are you willing to become all things to lead people to Christ?  It’s my prayer and it should be yours too…

A couple of weeks ago, I got a few new CD’s.  One of which is MercyMe, The Generous Mr. Lovewell.  To start off, it’s a great CD.  When I was in Cedar Springs and did a quick listen, the first track really got me going.  Since spinning it quite a few more times now the first track I truly love.  Below are the lyrics and some of my commentary as to what the Lord saying to ME through this song…  It’s a great song/album, check out this
