Teaching Kids
In 2 Chronicles 17:7-9 Jehoshaphat sent teachers and priests throughout Judah to teach the people the law. Jehoshaphat realized that knowing and understanding God’s word was vital to getting people to live as they should.
This makes me think of a family. How important is it that families relay bible and scripture to their kids? I think its painfully important. I’m not a parent, but one day I hope to be and I can’t wait to have the opportunity to share with our kids a small glimpse of what He has shown me. Kyle had a great story of how kids are listening when we talk to them about God (and they share it to), check it out. Parents are you placing in your kids the knowledge and desire to want to know more about God or are you dropping the ball? Let me encourage you to run the race with endurance.
