Small Group
Good morning everyone.. As of the time I am typing this, no one knows about this site, but that will soon change..
I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to my small group. The group has a great dynamic, good friendships that I hope will turn into great friendships over the months and years to come. The group has undergone some transitions in the last few months with the previous leaders stepping down to care for their growing family and Desirée and I have taken on the leadership role, with T&M providing their home for us to use as our meeting place. We are about to start a small group alignment (where the whole church does the same study and it’s talked about on the weekend in the main sanctuary). That will probably start for us on February 11th (our meeting date). After the alignment is over as a SG we will start Experiencing God. It’s a 12 week course that the church did as a whole many years ago and I am very excited about it, because I KNOW it will stretch and grow us as a SG. Desirée and I have started it already and look forward to going through it with everyone..
A few years back a former SG leader that I had, EC (you know who you are), got me to stretch and go things that I wouldn’t have normally done and because of him, it has given me the faith and strength to get through some of the things that I have in the past, with out your encouragement and at times kick in the tail, I wouldn’t be where I’m at, thanks boss…
